About the Role

We are looking for an Irrigation Technician to install, maintain, and troubleshoot irrigation systems at residential and commercial properties. This position emphasizes system installation, setup, and preventative maintenance. Candidates who enjoy hands-on outdoor work and solving technical irrigation challenges will thrive in this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install and set up new irrigation systems, including piping, sprinkler heads, valves, control panels, and pumps
  • Conduct routine system inspections to verify proper coverage, water pressure, and controller settings
  • Perform preventative maintenance, seasonal start-ups, and winterization
  • Operate trenching machines, digging equipment, and hand tools safely and efficiently
  • Assist with minor system design adjustments and upgrades
  • Maintain inventory of irrigation parts, tools, and equipment
  • Support other landscaping or grounds projects as assigned
  • Adjust to daily workflow changes to meet project timelines

Qualifications

  • Experience with irrigation system installation, setup, and maintenance
  • Knowledge of irrigation tools, materials, and best practices
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, or technical diagrams
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
