Class A CDL Driver

Job Summary:

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and reliable Class A CDL Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting landscaping materials and equipment to various job sites in the Omaha area. As a Class A CDL Driver for DMS Landscaping, you will play a vital role in the success of our landscaping projects by ensuring the timely delivery of materials and maintaining our high standards of safety.

Responsibilities:

  • Transport materials and equipment to and from job sites in a safe and efficient manner
  • Fulfill delivery schedules and ensure timely arrivals to maintain project timelines
  • Inspect vehicles and trailers for any maintenance or safety issues before and after each trip
  • Adhere to all local, state, and federal transportation laws and regulations
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel usage
  • Communicate effectively with the landscaping team to coordinate deliveries and ensure proper materials are transported
  • Assist with loading and unloading materials as needed
  • Follow all company policies and procedures

FINAL COMPENSATION AMOUNT WILL BE BASED OFF OF LEVEL OF EXPERIENCE

Requirements:

  • Valid Class A CDL license
  • Clean driving record
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Class A CDL driver
  • Ability to operate and maintain various types of landscaping equipment and machinery
  • Strong knowledge of local driving routes and regulations
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physical stamina to lift heavy materials and withstand outdoor working conditions
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic
